In accordance with the criteria Commitment to Excellence under the CMO No. 44, each Level III accreditation per program renders automatic 35 points while an institutional recognition purses a maximum 40 points.
In order to achieve COE, University must have established reputation and integrity in the academic community aside from its profitability in efficiently operating and sustaining programs without unnecessary tuition hikes.
Having the autonomous status for a certain University is a good reputation that will help prove that the University is really implementing quality education. Being an academician for a very long time, I could say that all of the schools here in the Philippines must make sure that they give what's the best for their students.
